La fiesta de los "Reyes" Magos es una de las tradiciones hispanas más populares. Los niños esperan los regalos y los adultos se reúnen en familia alrededor de la mesa para partir la "Rosca de Reyes". Debe ser también una magnífica oportunidad para aprender de los Magos una buena lección. Ellos siguieron una estrella que los llevó hasta Jesús. Enfrentaron un largo viaje y seguramente muchos peligros. Sin embargo, no se detuvieron hasta estar frente a su Dios. En vez de pedir, ofrecieron sus regalos. Podemos preguntarnos: ¿nos dejamos guiar por la luz de la verdad para encontrar a Jesús? Estamos dispuestos a enfrentar y superar las dificultades de vivir rodeados de mentiras y oscuridades? ¿Qué estamos dispuestos a ofrecer a nuestro Dios? ¿Qué es lo mejor que podemos ofrecerle?

++++++The feast of the Kings is one of the most popular Hispanic traditions. Children are given gifts and family gather around the table to share in the the "Rosca de Reyes" bread. It should also be a great opportunity to learn a good lesson from the Magi. They followed a star that led them to Jesus. They faced a long journey and certainly many dangers. However, they did not stop until they stood before their God. Instead of asking for something, they offered their gifts. We ask ourselves: are we guided by the light of truth in our search for Jesus? Are we ready toconfront and overcome the difficulties of living surrounded by lies and darkness? What are we willing to offer to our God? What is the best we can offer?
