En esta semana he tenido la oportunidad de reunirme con dos grupos diferentes que están preparando algunas de las presentaciones de las Conferencias de Otoño. Dentro de la invitación general de la diócesis de Boise de "estar todos en la mesa", este año el énfasis estará en la presencia de los jóvenes. Hay muchos jóvenes que no se sientan a las mesa con nosotros. Algunos, porque no se sienten invitados; otros, porque no se sienten bienvenidos. Quiero invitar a todos los miembros de la parroquia (sobre todo los/as jóvenes) a que asistan a las Conferencias (del 18 al 20 de septiembre) y hagan oir su voz. Mientras no estemos todos los miembros de la familia de Dios sentados a la mesa, nuestra misión no habrá sido cumplida.

++++++++This week I had the opportunity to participate in two different groups preparing some of the presentations for the Fall Conference. Within the general invitation from the diocese of Boise to be all "seated at the table," this year the emphasis is placed on the presence of our youth. There are many young people who do not sit at our table. Some because they do not feel invited, others because they do not feel welcome. I would like to invite all the members of our parish, especially the young ones, to attend the Conferences (from September 18 to 20) and make their voice heard. Unless we all, members of God's family, are seated at the table, our mission will remain unfulfilled.
